VERDICT

The Bluedio U are amazing in every possible way. If we were to list the best Bluetooth headphones you can currently buy, they would certainly be at the very top of the list. If you were so far ignoring Bluedio and their products, you should certainly start paying attention: they seem to get better with every successful release and are being recognized in the west as a leading audio gear manufacturer.

The Chinese audio manufacturer Bluedio never rests for too long. They have built a good reputation thanks to the high quality of their products and constant desire to innovate and push the boundaries of Bluetooth technology and portable listening in general. The Bluedio U (the U stands for UFO) use Bluedio’s innovative PPS8 technology, which revolves around the use of 8 drivers to accurately reproduce every note.

Design and Build Quality

The foundation of the Bluedio U is a beautifully crafted airplane-grade aluminum alloy. Not only is it extremely durable, but it also makes the headphones look very sleek and visually appealing. Furthermore, you really don’t have to worry about scratching them just because of the wear and tear caused by daily use.

You know that feeling when you put on a pair of headphones and, after an hour or two, start to feel like you have to take them away to avoid dying from discomfort? Well, the Bluedio U are the exact opposite. Your ears will feel like thousand little, fluffy angels descended down from heaven and started cuddling with them. Wearing these headphones during your entire work day causes no painful or irritating sensations whatsoever.

Bluedio made the operation of these Bluetooth headphones very simple. All buttons are clearly labeled and the voice command feedback features gives you useful confirmation in English.

Sound Quality

There’s a lot to be said about the sound quality of the Bluedio U. For a pair of closed-back Bluetooth headphones, the soundstage is surprisingly spacious, possessing that desirable ability to pull you in. The bass is otherworldly detailed and full of subtle details that you simply don’t get to enjoy with most other headphones.

Luckily, the same can also be said about mids and highs. When you combine all these elements together, the result is a joy to listen to. It would be a great understatement to say that parting with Bluedio U at the end of our testing was difficult.

What’s in the Box

You get the Bluedio U (UFO) Bluetooth headphones, audio cable, micro USB charging cable, manual, and carry case with a carabiner.
